Foots Cray Stable

 

Morgan Restoration working in conjunction with Bexley Property services have redeveloped the whole of the Foots Cray Stable Complex as follows:

 

 

1.      The Stable and adjacent Chauffeurs Cottage has bene converted to provide a single-family dwelling.

 

2.      The Smoking Room to the south of the site has bene converted to provide a two bedroom single story building for uses ancillary to the main stable.

  

3.     The gardens are redesigned using a contemporary scheme designed by Chris Beardshaw, he follwoed the principles of Thomas Mawson

The work is now complete and was inspected on 1st March 2007 by Malcolm Woods( Historic Buildings and Areas Adviser London Region) of English Heritage who described the project as 'excellent'
